  • Asian Heritage Bus Tours – Explore the rich cultural offerings and ethnic foods of Southwest Houston on a curated, half-day guided tour that explores a variety of cultural, dining, and shopping destinations in Bellaire, Harwin, and Hillcroft boulevards. $35. 10am to 2:30pm.
  • Harlem Globetrotters at NRG Arena –Catch the Harlem Globetrotters perform their world-famous basketball tricks at NRG before they dunk out of Houston and head to their next city. Tickets start at $19. 2pm and 7pm.
  • Saint Arnold Pub Crawl in Downtown– Drink your way through bars like El Big Bad, Batanga, OKRA, Molly’s Pub and more to earn a Saint Arnold pint glass at this Downtown Pub Crawl. 2pm to 6pm.
  • The Rose Shrimp Boil in Pasadena Convention Center and Municipal Fairgrounds –Support the work of breast health care organization The Rose at this family-friendly shrimp boil with live music, an auction, kid’s activities and more at The Pasadena Convention Center and Municipal Fairgrounds. Tickets start at $10. 4pm to 8pm.
  • The Market at Sawyer Yards– Shop a curated selection of specialty foods, folk art and artisan crafts during this evening market hosted by The Washington Avenue Arts District. 6pm to 10pm.
  • Introduction to Texas Wines at Houston Arboretum– Join Texas wine expert Dr. Russ Kane at the Houston Arboretum to sample and learn all about Texas wines. Tickets start at $40. 7pm to 9:30pm.
  • Houston Dash vs. Portland Thorns FC at BBVA Compass Stadium –Cheer on the Dash as they play Portland in a home game at BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets start at $15. 7:30pm.
  • LaLa LandMovie Screening at WineStyles – Sip on wine and order some food while you watch one of the most awarded films of all time, LaLa Land starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone at WineStyles Bar. 8pm.
  • Symphonic Sights & Sounds at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion– Watch music come to life on LED screens as conductor Francesco Lecce-Chon leads the audience through familiar works performed by the Houston Symphony. Select seating is free. 8pm.
  • Splice Records Birthday Party at Big Top Lounge– Celebrate the third anniversary of Splice Records with an evening of live music at Shoeshine Charley’s Big Top Lounge in Midtown. Suggested $10 donation. 8pm.
  • TrollsMovie Screening at Discovery Green | FREE – Bring the whole family out to Discovery Green for a screening of Dreamworks’ animated movie  8:30pm.

  • Fidget and Fusion Workshop for Teens at TXRX Labs– Enroll your teen in this design workshop where they’ll learn how to use Autodesk Fusion 360 software and make a fidget spinner that TXRX Labs will 3D print. $50. 3pm to 6pm.
