Veterans Day at McDonald’s | FREE for Veterans with Military ID – Veterans can head to a participating Houston area and show their Military ID to receive a free Extra Value Meal on Veterans Day. All day.
Run in the Park at Hermann Park – Take off on a jog around Hermann Park in a 5k or 3k and let the little ones take part in the 1K Kids’ Fun Run at this annual race benefiting the park. Hang out afterward for music, food, and drinks on the Molly Ann Smith Plaza. $30. 8am.
Hook’d: Pirates in Concert at Jones Hall – Grab your little pirate and walk the plank into Jones Hall for a morning of music from Pirates of the Caribbean and The Flying Dutchman with the Houston Symphony. 10am and 11:30am.
Wobble Before You Gobble at Pearland Town Center – Before you head into the holidays, where you’re bound to devour cookies, turkey, extra stuffing, and all the pie, take part in this family-friendly health day with obstacle courses, health screenings, and fitness demos. 10am to 2pm.
